Artificial intelligence optimizes the collection and processing of information from many objects simultaneously. In modern conditions, when developing oil fields, it is important to know the current pressure at the bottom of the well. This allows us to judge the serviceability of downhole pumping equipment (DPE) and the performance of the formation. Therefore, companies such as Tatneft widely use deep measuring systems (DMC). They allow you to record bottomhole pressure in real time. They are equipped with wells with a sucker rod pump (SRP). “Oil News” writes about this (Katerina MASHENTSEVA).Previously, Tatneft specialists had to look at each well separately to analyze data. In this case, different programs were used that did not provide the possibility of conducting analysis for all wells. In addition, there was no uniform standard for collecting information. Different systems and a low level of automation took a lot of time to analyze the entire fund. Therefore, the head of the operational activities department of the Tatneft-Dobycha JV, Farid KHAZIPOV, came up with the idea of consolidating information from deep-hole instruments in one place. For this purpose, Tatneft introduced the TN-ASKAR software package. It allows you to automate several information analysis processes at once. This is a calculation of well potential, a report on incorrect measurements, deep telemetry data, etc.Tatneft specialists today actively use the functionality of the software package to identify well downtime. The system significantly saves time by analyzing data from the operation of the GIK/TMS (submersible telemetry system) in a matter of minutes.“The system has provided great benefits,” explains Khazipov. — Firstly, we collected all the wells with GIK and TMS into a single information field, and also set up reporting forms. It’s enough to press a button to get information on the latest measurements for the entire well stock.” Previously, this would have taken a whole day of specialist work, but now it takes two minutes. “Secondly, we made analytical forms more complex by integrating with the engineering workstation,” he added. Now information is transferred from ARMITS to the program, making it possible to conduct a more in-depth and high-quality data analysis. Reverse integration is also possible, allowing you to enter data on the current bottomhole pressure directly into ARMITS, says Farid Khazipov. If the well is shut down, experts see that a pressure recovery curve has been recorded. Accordingly, you can select this area and process it in the same system. The result was significant time savings and increased reliability of the information received.“Due to the software, several information analysis processes have been automated that could not be implemented before consolidating all the information in a single software,” emphasizes Alexander ISAEV, head of the group for the Yamash territory of Tatneft-Dobycha.These are reports on missing or incorrect measurements, on shortfalls; deep telemetry data, well potential calculations, pressure level comparison reports, etc. TN-ASKAR also allows you to identify downtime of wells.Data processing algorithms visualize direct data on well shutdowns. You can also find areas of downtime in wells with hydrodynamics by the behavior of pressure data.“Identified downtimes are assessed for reliability based on secondary criteria,” explains Isaev. “Timely identified downtime allows us to more accurately account for the volume of extracted products, as well as to eliminate it in a timely manner.”The depth telemetry module allows you to accumulate and consolidate data from the GIC. At the same time, the IT product monitors the performance of depth measuring instruments. Automated analysis makes it possible to identify well production losses of over 100 tons per day.Tatneft plans to improve the program by introducing artificial intelligence into the analysis of downhole pressure data. Algorithms will analyze the graph of indicators and, based on it, determine the performance of the gas pumping equipment and its potential for optimization. All this will simplify the analysis of well performance.Source
